Loop Recorder - Sound Recording Software for Windows

Scripts Tuesday, September 19, 2017

Loop Recorder can be controlled by command line switches for scheduled or automated recordings. The scripts are written in Visual Basic Script (VBS) and require the latest version of the Microsoft Windows Scripting Host.

Loop Recorder Repeated Autosave Folder

The scripts are for advanced users only. They are provided "as is" without any warranty and are not supported.

  1. Loop Recorder Repeated Autosave 1.2, zipped VBS file, Apr 18th, 2003.

This script expands Loop Recorder's native repeated autosaving feature. It starts Loop Recorder repeatedly, so that it automatically saves every 30 minutes at every full and half hour. The file names are date/time based. A new folder is created for each new date.

You need to edit the file with Notepad to change the base folder, the interval and additional options like the recording quality and the mixer level.

The registered version of Loop Recorder is required.

If you need a professional solution for sound archiving we recommend Loop Recorder Pro instead.

  2. Loop Recorder Pro Archive Cleanup 1.1, zipped VBS file, Apr 18th, 2003.

This script deletes old files from the Loop Recorder Pro sound archive automatically. Please create a new job in the task scheduler, so that it starts the script every day or once a week.

You need to edit the file with Notepad to change the age of files that should be deleted (default: 6 weeks).

The registered version of Loop Recorder Pro is required.

Installation
